The sunsets have been a relief to the heat during these past weeks...this was taken by Lucy right above our house

Lucy was invited to attend a zoom senior awards ceremony and was recognized for:
Honors award
(GPA award for having a 4.0 or higher for her entire high school career)
She graduates with a 4.4 cumulative.

Spanish Honor Society with a certificate for biliteracy!

Inspirational Athlete of the Year
( a big deal!)
(her name will be on the wall in the canyon gym...forever!)

So we rewarded her in style with a trip to Wendy's for a round of frosties and fries :)

trying on her cap
"who decided that these look good?"

Onto Audrey's drop off of books and pick up for her final 8th grade week!

This smile is classic Audrey :)

buh bye Sierra Vista

not going to miss it at all!

They were given these tee shirts so I had her stop and take some pictures to immortalize the day she could say goodbye to junior high.
She is really looking forward to high school!

Lucy had to take some photos for her coaches at Cal Poly in her cap and gown.
She wears the white for having over a 4.0 every semester of high school.
What a star!

Later, the young women's leaders in our ward did a drive by grad party for the youth.
We were the first stop and I told her to where the cap. She looks so cute :)

I think Chester is the most excited about all this graduation business.
One final week and we should be all done with school...:)

Audrey Graduates!

And just like that, she is done with high school! A couple of days before, I had her try on all the cords she received. We have lovingly teased her about being a boss lady for quite sometime, but it is a legitimate moniker! I think she was pleased to have more cords than her older siblings too:) Cords and what they represent: white-Seminary graduate red- Red Cross club rainbow- art for 2+ years with an A purple-maintaining a 4.0 GPA for 7+ semesters blue & green- completing 200+ service hours blue & gold- National Honor Society club She decorated her cap as a future cougar:) Still planning her outfits out since kindergarten and I love it. Picking up the older kids the day of her graduation...haha Our go-to Hawaiian plate lunch meal for graduation! 💗Ready to go💗 Aunt Marcie flew in for the best surprise visit!  She made it memorable for everyone.  And served as our graduation photographer. If I hadn't been so busy, I would have cried upon her arrival💗 Cougar for life! It

London Layovers

This post is going backwards because this is one of the last photos I took in London before we went home.  I was also feeling very sick but adrenaline kicked in....because hello, it's LONDON ! I completely loved London.  I wasn't expecting that at all.  I thought I'd like it but I LOVED it.   I'm already calculating when I can go back with the girls:) Our charter bus from the cruise dropped us at Heathrow 7 hours early and the airline attendant when checking our bags noted that we  "were quite early" :) So we hopped on the Elizabeth Line and walked over to Hyde Park. It was full of friends, and dogs off leash with their owners, families...just everything. It just felt perfect. Like, was this real? Am I in a movie? Are these accents real? Oh wait...I'm the one with the accent:)  ( Remember, I have never really traveled outside of the the country and now the pandoras box of traveling is officially open...okay,  I digress...) Anyway, back to our afternoon  i

We Are Officially Building That House!

And....we're off! First concrete pour was a success Along with a crew involving other people outside  of our humble brigade! This is the garage floor which really should be called  Clay's shop floor haha let's be honest here :) the mastermind at hand :) ten years ago we took this photo upon our move into the Milkbarn, the home that changed me, changed all of us really. What an era that was for us! I mentioned to Clay as we build our home here on the coast,  my heart will finally mend from leaving Boulder. We are much older(sigh),  much wiser(that's good!),  and even more patient(almost killed us and we wanted to quit too many times to count). But here we are.  The immense joy we get when we work together creatively is really something else. It's taken us forever. The pieces are fitting together. God definitely took his time with us. And now...we're back :) (p.s. most of what we'll do will be in my stories section on my instagram @jenniferjoycolli
