Last but not Least...see ya Cunha Middle School!

It happened.
The last born has completed middle school.
I don't know who was more excited about this....him or us?
hahaha

His good friend Lane
Chester's selfie with Mr. Murray and good friend Naelson :)
He had Mr. Murray for homeroom, STEAM and Science.
He's the best!
We hollered when his name was announced.
He told us he didn't hear us....ha.
Chester received the Top 10 Academic Award in his grade for pulling straight A's all 3 years! him and a friend were the only 2 boys in the group and both are football players.
He said he liked contradicting the stereotype of an athlete:)
And special occasions call for a
Taco Bell Cantina night:)

Home for brownie sundaes and a couple of presents.
He has accomplished much in our new town and tried so many new things from surfing to voice lessons to mountain biking to being obsessed with our local card shop where everyone knows his name:)
Each morning I have enjoyed driving him to school in our guaranteed alone time. Talking or laughing or just being tired together...and he picks out great morning music too!
I have loved watching how friends catch up to him as they all walk into school chatting and dabbing each other up. He has grown up so much and has achieved academically.
He is definitely ready of high school!
So many things he still wants to try:)
Heaven help Clay if he plays baseball.
ha
A great picture of everyone after we resumed our last day of school movie tradition
(except maybe I thought we were done taking the picture haha).
We scooped handfuls of popcorn and slurped icees while watching
 Spiderman: Across the Universe.

What a happy day this was:)

Audrey Graduates!

And just like that, she is done with high school! A couple of days before, I had her try on all the cords she received. We have lovingly teased her about being a boss lady for quite sometime, but it is a legitimate moniker! I think she was pleased to have more cords than her older siblings too:) Cords and what they represent: white-Seminary graduate red- Red Cross club rainbow- art for 2+ years with an A purple-maintaining a 4.0 GPA for 7+ semesters blue & green- completing 200+ service hours blue & gold- National Honor Society club She decorated her cap as a future cougar:) Still planning her outfits out since kindergarten and I love it. Picking up the older kids the day of her graduation...haha Our go-to Hawaiian plate lunch meal for graduation! 💗Ready to go💗 Aunt Marcie flew in for the best surprise visit!  She made it memorable for everyone.  And served as our graduation photographer. If I hadn't been so busy, I would have cried upon her arrival💗 Cougar for life! It

London Layovers

This post is going backwards because this is one of the last photos I took in London before we went home.  I was also feeling very sick but adrenaline kicked in....because hello, it's LONDON ! I completely loved London.  I wasn't expecting that at all.  I thought I'd like it but I LOVED it.   I'm already calculating when I can go back with the girls:) Our charter bus from the cruise dropped us at Heathrow 7 hours early and the airline attendant when checking our bags noted that we  "were quite early" :) So we hopped on the Elizabeth Line and walked over to Hyde Park. It was full of friends, and dogs off leash with their owners, families...just everything. It just felt perfect. Like, was this real? Am I in a movie? Are these accents real? Oh wait...I'm the one with the accent:)  ( Remember, I have never really traveled outside of the the country and now the pandoras box of traveling is officially open...okay,  I digress...) Anyway, back to our afternoon  i

We Are Officially Building That House!

And....we're off! First concrete pour was a success Along with a crew involving other people outside  of our humble brigade! This is the garage floor which really should be called  Clay's shop floor haha let's be honest here :) the mastermind at hand :) ten years ago we took this photo upon our move into the Milkbarn, the home that changed me, changed all of us really. What an era that was for us! I mentioned to Clay as we build our home here on the coast,  my heart will finally mend from leaving Boulder. We are much older(sigh),  much wiser(that's good!),  and even more patient(almost killed us and we wanted to quit too many times to count). But here we are.  The immense joy we get when we work together creatively is really something else. It's taken us forever. The pieces are fitting together. God definitely took his time with us. And now...we're back :) (p.s. most of what we'll do will be in my stories section on my instagram @jenniferjoycolli
