At breakfast we decided to list 18 things about Lucy

just us, thinking about all of her

13. she's always up for breakfast, no matter the time of day
14. she drinks a lot of milk for being lactose intolerant
15. she jams to Taylor Swift  via her beats before every basketball game
16. she's always on the back row of pictures
17. but she legitimately likes being 6'3" !
18. her forever movie is Thor Ragnorok...she can watch that over and over!

Kindergarten & 1st Grade
(although she was placed in a 2nd grade class!)
Spruce Elementary

Top Row: 2nd-5th grades Center Street Elementary & Superior Elementary
Middle Row: 6th-8th grades Eldorado Middle School & Southern Hills Middle School
Bottom Row: 9th-12th grades Fairview High School & Canyon High School
My favorite pic of her was taken spring of her 2nd or 3rd grade year
 in El Segundo:)

Taken at school by a teacher in the 5th grade.
I love it.
She has loved learning and I feel blessed by her each day. I have grown with her as a parent and she has shown me patience through it all. As I wrote down all those schools , it made me feel a little heavy. We never intended to do all of that!
Each new experience for her brought more and more growth and opportunity. For that,  I wouldn't change all those schools and moves...except 3rd grade where we agree she only learned how to draw humpback whales...sigh.

You are on your way Lucy.
Happy 18th Birthday beautiful!

Audrey Graduates!

And just like that, she is done with high school! A couple of days before, I had her try on all the cords she received. We have lovingly teased her about being a boss lady for quite sometime, but it is a legitimate moniker! I think she was pleased to have more cords than her older siblings too:) Cords and what they represent: white-Seminary graduate red- Red Cross club rainbow- art for 2+ years with an A purple-maintaining a 4.0 GPA for 7+ semesters blue & green- completing 200+ service hours blue & gold- National Honor Society club She decorated her cap as a future cougar:) Still planning her outfits out since kindergarten and I love it. Picking up the older kids the day of her graduation...haha Our go-to Hawaiian plate lunch meal for graduation! 💗Ready to go💗 Aunt Marcie flew in for the best surprise visit!  She made it memorable for everyone.  And served as our graduation photographer. If I hadn't been so busy, I would have cried upon her arrival💗 Cougar for life! It

London Layovers

This post is going backwards because this is one of the last photos I took in London before we went home.  I was also feeling very sick but adrenaline kicked in....because hello, it's LONDON ! I completely loved London.  I wasn't expecting that at all.  I thought I'd like it but I LOVED it.   I'm already calculating when I can go back with the girls:) Our charter bus from the cruise dropped us at Heathrow 7 hours early and the airline attendant when checking our bags noted that we  "were quite early" :) So we hopped on the Elizabeth Line and walked over to Hyde Park. It was full of friends, and dogs off leash with their owners, families...just everything. It just felt perfect. Like, was this real? Am I in a movie? Are these accents real? Oh wait...I'm the one with the accent:)  ( Remember, I have never really traveled outside of the the country and now the pandoras box of traveling is officially open...okay,  I digress...) Anyway, back to our afternoon  i

We Are Officially Building That House!

And....we're off! First concrete pour was a success Along with a crew involving other people outside  of our humble brigade! This is the garage floor which really should be called  Clay's shop floor haha let's be honest here :) the mastermind at hand :) ten years ago we took this photo upon our move into the Milkbarn, the home that changed me, changed all of us really. What an era that was for us! I mentioned to Clay as we build our home here on the coast,  my heart will finally mend from leaving Boulder. We are much older(sigh),  much wiser(that's good!),  and even more patient(almost killed us and we wanted to quit too many times to count). But here we are.  The immense joy we get when we work together creatively is really something else. It's taken us forever. The pieces are fitting together. God definitely took his time with us. And now...we're back :) (p.s. most of what we'll do will be in my stories section on my instagram @jenniferjoycolli
