Hello Collins

Our first October living as coast siders and I think it's official: we belong :) We took the kids back to Arata's Farm...the pumpkin patch of their childhood... only Lucy remembered it :) Chester wasn't born here so he is still more Coloradan than Californian.  He gets a pass. I love that Audrey likes to celebrate holidays :) and step into corn fields haha Every weekend we have a football game for Chester It has been rewarding to watch him grow in his capabilities. He looks so small out there though!  post game lunches if we are doing an away game see?  even the liquor store a block away sells pumpkins here :) Lucy got to meet some of her future sisters as they had to get their visa applications in for Portugal! Chester turned 12! I took some photos of him a week before to document him :) We are here at our 4 acre wood in Montara...of course he loves it out there! His birthday fell on a Saturday with a home game for the  Coastside Cougar football team!  He was in heaven.  #87 had a couple of tackles, a sack and caught a fantastic pass and "stiff armed" some kids getting down the field for some yardage :) There is a lot of of  "mom, did you see me when I ....?" We knew he would love football :) I made some brownie cupcakes for the team after the game for a bday celebration :) After the game his request was to go to the Crepevine for lunch.  He ate half of that burger, haha. But this birthday crepe was finished off :) It was a good day! Back in August we celebrated Henry's birthday at Paul and Janet's.  We made him his favorite cake and Paul whipped up some delicious pizzas for him out back. He met up with old friends in Boulder and shopped with Lucy and Mackenzie....

It was a clear and spotless morning as we headed to the Oakland Temple with Lucy. In preparation for her mission, each sister and elder must enter the temple to make and keep covenants to be better prepared to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This day is made in preparation and has been worked towards over a lifetime💕 parking lot picture  before entering for her appointment She was a bit nervous but in her face I saw more of her quiet confidence and  ability to comprehend the significance of this step in her life.  She was ready :) Post temple :  joy for Lucy Jane! my adorable lookalikes I just know how much they love each other... How much they understand each other and their patience for each other.
