Hello Collins

Scenes from the road are always beautiful in Utah.  It's a beautiful drive from Colorado to Las Vegas! Staying a night in St. George. Before heading to Las Vegas we took a trip to the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam was fascinating but I will say the kids were decidedly excited to get to the Mandalay Bay Hotel! FYI, huge lines happen at the Las Vegas sign at all hours of the day. So, we had time to kill before check in so there we waited. And then all the water Chet had drunk was about to let loose so we popped out of line, snapped a shot and he later did his business... in the parking lot . Arriving at the Mandalay Bay was so exciting! (I made them jump) Checking the view from our room, such an incredible  view of the Strip.  And just far enough up and away that the view at night was so cool. Happy 10th Birthday Audrey! (do you notice the blizzard happening outside?) Seriously, every birthday of hers in  Colorado = snowstorms Since Audrey was a baby we have made her little tiny heart cakes, this year I am perfecting a larger version to meet the needs of our very hungry pack of children!  An Audrey birthday wouldn't be complete without going out for some hamburgers and fries.  That blizzard couldn't stop Clay's truck.  We did donuts in the mall parking lot afterwards.
