Spring Break 2015
We drove down to Phoenix for a quick trip but stopped in Albuquerque.
We took a look at Old Town and had so much fun, ate good food at The Church Cafe, met a really crazy weird artist, went into a fabulous gallery of Day of the Dead art(no pictures allowed though)and got some good ice cream.
I really really like New Mexico.
Something about it draws me in.
Part of being a parent is making your kids pose
for photos like these.
After I took this shot of Chester he said,
"take another one, I wanted to say yee-haw!"
Found this nice quiet courtyard away from the touristy stuff.
This is my version of Mexican portraiture.
This store held the below goods.
Best vanilla on the planet.
Rockin' out in the car. Henry makes great playlists.
Spotted Clay's dream truck being transported in Payson, AZ.
A 56' GMC.
They even painted it in his signature orange.
Hanging out and scootering at Aunt Marcie's
cute home in the Willo District, Downtown Phoenix.
We made great friends with the neighbors as well!
And then this is when the trip goes undocumented.
My phone dropped into a pool.
Good move.
So, we ate taquitos, Urban Cookies, kind of swam in a very cold pool, played with little cousins, saw and helped Grandma and saw the Cinderella movie which was so cute and endearing.
We will not talk about how sick Audrey got on the way home or how 3 of my 4 children are laying lifeless on the floor with quite possibly, the worst stomach flu they have ever had.
Cinderella said, have courage and be kind.
