How do we even have a 21 year old?

Birthday Breakfast!

We had an abundant and delicious breakfast at our usual spot,

The Crepevine:)

We gave the day to Lucy and she opted for a hike up in Quarry Park in El Granada..

with beautiful views of a foggy Half Moon Bay :)

The girls and I caught some sun though in Pescadero at the goat farm later in the day. We grabbed some fresh goat cheese spread and locally made crackers and absorbed some vitamin D :)

I bought a beautiful but bland cake for her

When I ask him to smile and look celebratory in her pictures.

Sigh

and it just kept going...

I hope all her wishes come true💛

So many changes for her coming up!

First, I can't believe we have a 21 year old. She probably can't believe it either but it's so exciting to get into your twenties...at least that's what I remember.

It's so good to have her home with us.

She brings fun and calm all at the same time.

Audrey's off! Santo Domingo East Mission

Here she is. On a split. In the campo(country)! Dominican Republic Time hop to May when she received her tags :) Her paper giving her permission to proselyte! Pre-mission things to do were: picture with flag at temple ✓ hikes in the sun✓ being set apart as a missionary in our home✓ home mtc p-day shenanigans✓ last taco bell supper :) ✓ hugs that need to last 18 months✓ Her first MTC phone call home. She had too much fun there but why not? This missionary mom will send you one package to the mtc... and that's it :) Upon arrival, she met her mission presidents! Presidente y Hermana Chaverri Meeting her trainer in the field:) And after a mini transfer, meeting her new trainer! Her spanish will improve exponentially (she is from Nicaragua!) Sports Mom Era

I think I saw this coming but maybe I didn't really see this coming:) I am a sports mom. Plain and simple. I had other hats too like library mom, classroom aid mom, costumes for musicals mom, outdoorsy hiking mom, musical mom, jazz band mom, tech crew mom, art mom, spring break mom, etc etc etc But sports mom has been a pretty big theme in my life:) So, in honor of my Dad's birthday today and his absolute love of sports, I share this to save the memoires. Because one day, it will be just that, sweet and crazy sports mom era memories:) Okay, so I love JV games because the weather at 4pm in the Bay Area and even coast side was amazing last year. February 2019: Queen of Hearts

💘 February is a mix of triumph over January and the heart filled cooler days until March. It's like the happy bridge to spring. But I live in a place right now where winter kind of feels like a Colorado spring. We even got snow the other day here! Turning a Nike shoe box into a valentine collector Chester's homemade class valentines :) Audrey's socks given to her by her sunday school teachers! She is kind of the queen of February On Valentine's day Chester's class was invited to make lunch and decorate at the Santa Clarita Valley food services for both elementary school districts. It was a big honor, only one class out of the 4 districts it services was chosen by lottery....
