Captains Log: Week 9

Week 9  The almost summer sky has been so blue and clear.  I doubt we even saw a cloud float by last week ! Our pool service guy retired and we got a new one.  It has been fairly inexpensive to have this service and honestly, if we didn't,  it would look like a swamp! Anyway, as it turns out, he wasn't that great and our new guy and his son have made it look beautiful! We are having fun with this pool knowing we'll never have another one again but we really want to invite people over to swim! okay, I made them pose in this picture with their jamba juice...haha I call her the Lizard since she likes to lay in the sun :) sidenote: one thing about everything closing is not being able to go to the orthodontist. It has been a source of inflamed gums, loose wires ...this is when my frustration level rises... I guess you can buy marijuana but not see your ortho! Chester reading away his day during a swim brea...

Captains Log: Week 8 plus Mother's Day

Week 8 was a hot one.  We got out to the pool most days in the afternoon after "distance learning". I am not into online school at all . But I am into being with my children when "school" is done! backyard bottle brush tree  Chester is in a full blown Harry Potter phase.  He fashioned wands out of skewers and hot glue.  Now I just have to get him some paint!  Of course, Audrey picked up how to do this on the internet :) there is a lot of truth in this for me haha Chester's class put together a message to Mrs. Green for teacher appreciation week!  Each child held a sign for the message :) backyard roses blooming over the fence  I have been playing florist this past week and it's been a highlight for me :)  I went out in the backyard during the "flower" full moon... I woke up a few times from the brightness.  It was so beautiful! more roses set out for myself by my bedsid...
