Hello Collins

January at the beach is so pretty and clear...when it isn't raining :) Lucy's best friend from Boulder came for a visit and we had so much fun with her! love our Mackenzie (or cousin Mackenzie as she has been nicknamed) Next up the Quimby entourage came for a week!  They got some rain but it still exceeded any January day in Alaska :) hanging out at Vasquez Rocks with Clay and Mandy oh the joys of a season pass at Magic Mountain, we were able to get them all in free. Perfect day, no lines! Wesley and Chester rode this little coaster a number of times together, haha Another beach day but this one was more typical of a   January day up in Ventura We did the Getty much to some boys chagrin.   Lucy proves to be my favorite museum buddy.  Her and Audrey see things that I don't notice and I love that about the both of them. we got lunch at In N' Out I actually finished reading the Book of Mormon via invitation by President Nelson last October. I probably listened to half of it while unpacking...but it worked for me! these 2 went to a stake new year's dance but made their way back to us before midnight...which secretly made me super happy :) and I have a new workroom! Clay painted it over the last couple of days, it is the best workroom I have ever had and I am excited to get moved in and start some projects.  My new years goals are to make time for creativity, feel closer to my savior and recognize him in the quiet moments of the day, exercise (of course!) and slow down after a very fast paced year. Not sure what will come of 2019  but I am feeling peace and calm about it all :)
