The Sneak Peek

Big Pregnant Bronzelee
Before we start talking about anything, Bronzelee is still pregnant. Her past litters have been 13 and 15 piglets. We had a nice Sunday afternoon visit with her last week. We brought her some water and cooled her off. She is so sweet, even covered in mud...and super smelly. She can hardly stand. Chester said in the sweetest voice while hanging over the fence
"Do you remember me Bronzewee?"
ahhhh....siding
How many times does a man have to forgive  paint? 70 times 7. Drat that number!!
The girls and I have been painting siding all week. Painting with an oil based primer first. We have done 70. Another 70 to go. We went to church today with paint still stuck on us...it's gonna be that way for awhile people.

Paul and Clay
Sneak Peek #1
We have a corner of siding done!!!

Our rag tag crew.
This weekend we had a small crew of help. 2 missionaries, a 15 year old football player, a home teacher and Mike from work who can do just about anything. Thank you!

Happy Clay
As we see more progress, more smiles can emerge.
I won't get into all the tears of frustration this past week.

of expectations....

This past month

Lucy turned 12. I still beat her at bowling because life isn't fair, right?? We played 7 consecutive rounds of laser tag.
We are addicted.

Botox or bee sting?
Chester got stung by a bee on his mouth. He now takes the long way around to the bench swing.

Where's my worms!!!
The Robin's hatched. I think they thought my phone was incoming food.

Best 4th Ever
We had a little 4th of July party at the house. It was perfect.
No one got burned...although the bridge caught on fire.
For reals.

$100 dollars worth of fireworks plus Dr. Pepper equals Fun Dad's. Thank you Dan.

Surprise sunflower along the driveway.
Sneak Peek #2
We are so close to finishing the girls room! They have been sleeping at the neighbors all week. And can't wait to head over tonight. Because who wants to sleep here?

Audrey Graduates!

And just like that, she is done with high school! A couple of days before, I had her try on all the cords she received. We have lovingly teased her about being a boss lady for quite sometime, but it is a legitimate moniker! I think she was pleased to have more cords than her older siblings too:) Cords and what they represent: white-Seminary graduate red- Red Cross club rainbow- art for 2+ years with an A purple-maintaining a 4.0 GPA for 7+ semesters blue & green- completing 200+ service hours blue & gold- National Honor Society club She decorated her cap as a future cougar:) Still planning her outfits out since kindergarten and I love it. Picking up the older kids the day of her graduation...haha Our go-to Hawaiian plate lunch meal for graduation! 💗Ready to go💗 Aunt Marcie flew in for the best surprise visit!  She made it memorable for everyone.  And served as our graduation photographer. If I hadn't been so busy, I would have cried upon her arrival💗 Cougar for life! It

London Layovers

This post is going backwards because this is one of the last photos I took in London before we went home.  I was also feeling very sick but adrenaline kicked in....because hello, it's LONDON ! I completely loved London.  I wasn't expecting that at all.  I thought I'd like it but I LOVED it.   I'm already calculating when I can go back with the girls:) Our charter bus from the cruise dropped us at Heathrow 7 hours early and the airline attendant when checking our bags noted that we  "were quite early" :) So we hopped on the Elizabeth Line and walked over to Hyde Park. It was full of friends, and dogs off leash with their owners, families...just everything. It just felt perfect. Like, was this real? Am I in a movie? Are these accents real? Oh wait...I'm the one with the accent:)  ( Remember, I have never really traveled outside of the the country and now the pandoras box of traveling is officially open...okay,  I digress...) Anyway, back to our afternoon  i

We Are Officially Building That House!

And....we're off! First concrete pour was a success Along with a crew involving other people outside  of our humble brigade! This is the garage floor which really should be called  Clay's shop floor haha let's be honest here :) the mastermind at hand :) ten years ago we took this photo upon our move into the Milkbarn, the home that changed me, changed all of us really. What an era that was for us! I mentioned to Clay as we build our home here on the coast,  my heart will finally mend from leaving Boulder. We are much older(sigh),  much wiser(that's good!),  and even more patient(almost killed us and we wanted to quit too many times to count). But here we are.  The immense joy we get when we work together creatively is really something else. It's taken us forever. The pieces are fitting together. God definitely took his time with us. And now...we're back :) (p.s. most of what we'll do will be in my stories section on my instagram @jenniferjoycolli
